The development of disease

Cervical fibroids are classified as chronic diseases. As a rule, the disease develops over a long period of time, as a result of which changes occur in tissues and organs.

The cause of the disease can be due to physical exertion, monotonous movement combined with working conditions, lying in an uncomfortable position for a long time. In addition, the occurrence of cervical spondylosis can cause low physical activity, worsening of blood circulation in the tissues adjacent to the spine and discs. As a result, the musculoskeletal system becomes weaker. However, one of the most common causes of the disease is mechanical (trauma, vibration, noise, bruising).

Symptoms of cervical osteonecrosis

The main symptoms of osteonecrosis of the neck are:

  • headache, which may be worse with exercise;
  • vision loss;
  • sharp pain in the eye;
  • increased pressure (occurs due to compression of the blood vessels in the cervical region);
  • chest pain, which may resemble the pain of angina;
  • hand numbness;
  • dizzy.

If any of these symptoms appear, you should consult your doctor.

Treatment of cervical osteonecrosis

Self-treatment of osteonecrosis is excluded. After all, if painkillers can ease the pain, inflammation is unlikely. In order for the situation not to get worse, it is better to adhere to all the instructions of the doctor.

Experts say that it is not possible to completely cure genital warts, but at the same time, it is possible to relieve symptoms, improve the general condition and prevent the occurrence of exacerbations. For these purposes, complex methods of treatment are most suitable, which include the use of skin protectants (helps to restore cartilage of the discs), vasodilators (activate blood circulation in the spine).

Patients with osteonecrosis are often prescribed a course of massage. The course is recommended to be done 2 times a year, 10 sessions each time. This treatment can improve blood circulation and relieve pain.

Alternative medicine is also used to treat osteonecrosis, in particular, they resort to acupuncture and manual therapy. In some cases, electrophoresis and courses of therapeutic exercises are also prescribed.

Prevention of cervical osteonecrosis

The best prevention of osteonecrosis is exercise. You can regularly do yoga, gymnastics, swimming and other activities, or you can do simple exercises that will be good for your neck and spine.

For example, you can do a head tilt: while exhaling, gently tilt your head forward, while inhaling - back. Do three inclines in each direction. Then, do the same, tilt your head left and right. Try to keep the movements smooth.

Alternatively, try the following: clasp your palms over your head, while pulling your elbows out to the sides. Then, use all your strength to press your palms together, gradually releasing your hands. Repeat 3 times.

Light exercise can be completed by self-massage, massaging the neck in circular motions of the hands. Remember that the main thing is not to cure the disease, but to prevent its occurrence. We wish you not to get sick and stay beautiful and happy for longer!
